Social Emotional Learning and Culturally Responsive Activities for the Adult Classroom
COVID-19 disrupted the lives of all of us drastically. Research and statistics show that the mental health of our students has been greatly impacted by the pandemic. Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and Culturally-Responsive Teaching (CRT) activities are beneficial for the learning process of our students but also their personal well-being and growth. This presentation will provide demonstrations and strategies to incorporate SEL and CRT into the classroom.
This session was a part of the fourth Maryland Adult Education Virtual Training Institute and was hosted by:
Hali Massey - Virginia Adult Learning Resource Center
