Blended Learning in the COVID-Compliant Classroom: Adjusting to the New Normal

Many institutions are getting back to face-to-face instruction. Thoughtfully developing in-person “COVID-compliant” classrooms requires stakeholders to learn from both experience and research. This session will highlight how Howard Community College adapted their courses - first online, and then back in-person - as blended learning courses. We will discuss what research says about best practices for integrating hybrid and blended learning into the classroom. This session will encourage participants to think about ways they can leverage the skills they have learned, and consider how they can implement some of these best practices.

This session was a part of the fourth Maryland Adult Education Virtual Training Institute and was hosted by:

Katie Edwards - Howard Community College
