Adapting Low Literacy Reading Strategies using Free Online Resources

Updated: Jan 13

Learning virtually can be a tremendous challenge for low-level readers. Strategies that were successful in a face-to-face class now have to be adapted to be successful in a virtual setting. During this session you will learn how to adapt ReadWorks materials to be effective in choral reading. We will briefly explore ReadWorks and share strategies for classroom implementation.

This webinar is a part of the third Maryland Adult Education Virtual Training Institute - Hosted December 2020. The facilitator for this session was Ramona Kunkel from the Maryland Department of Labor.
